Use Email Alerts to Your Advantage

It's important to keep up with the pulse of the market and to have up-to-date information about changes in your market. New Listing Alerts, New Photo Alerts, and My Portfolio Alerts give you early knowledge of new listings or property changes and give you the competitive edge over competing buyers.

  1. New Listing Alerts notify you as soon as a new listing matching your saved search criteria comes on the market. When you conduct a search, turn on New Listing Alerts by naming your search. New Listing Alerts let you know of new market arrivals and provide a direct link to the property details on the site. If the property interests you, go to the property details page and add the new listing to My Portfolio.

  2. Most new listings are posted in the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS) before a photo is available. New Listing Alerts are often sent before a photo is available. You will receive a New Photo Alert as soon as a photo is available so you can view the photo online. Seeing a photo will help you determine if you want to drive by the property and request a home tour to see the interior.

  3. My Portfolio Alerts are instant notifications of price and status changes to properties that are in My Portfolio. It is important to put your favorite properties into My Portfolio so you can use My Portfolio Alerts to monitor their changes.

Alerts act as your market watchdog. The site works for you even when you are not online. Alerts are email notifications of significant market changes relevant to properties of interest to you. You don't have to watch because the site does it for you.
